ABOUT THE AUTHOR OF THE BOOK,JAMES AND THE GIANT PEACH

Roald Dahl supports specialist pediatric nurses throughout the UK caring for children with epilepsy, blood disorders, and acquired brain injury. It also provides practical help for children and young people with brain, blood, and literacy problems, all causes close to Roald Dahl during his lifetime, through grants to UK hospitals and charities as well as to individual children and also their own families.

The Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre is located just outside London. It is located in Buckinghamshire village, that place is where he wrote and lived. At the heart of the museum was created to inspire a love of reading and also writing, is his uniqe archive of letters and manuscripts. James and the Giant Peach

After James Henry Trotter and his companion survived from the Cloud-Men that threw hailstones, they continued the journey with the giant peach still hanging in the seagulls’ neck. Suddenly the Ladybug saw something weird, and actually it was the Cloud-Men making the rainbow below the clouds. The giant peach was flying and crashing across the rainbow, it was a big noise when it crashed so the rainbow became two, separated pieces. After that, another accident happened which is that the rope that the Cloud-Men used for lowering the rainbow got tangled up with the silk string that used for flied the giant peach. James got panicked because the peach trapped plus, also to see the faces of the Cloud-Men when the rope and silk strings tangled up.

Suddenly one Cloud-Man tried to take one of the silk strings and came down to eat James and his companion. James asked Centipede to bite or cut the string that the Cloud-Man clinging on it. The seagull flew away taking the Cloud-Man up. The rest of the Cloud-Men were very angry when they saw one of their company taken away by the seagulls, and then went down and caused the peach freed and flew away from the cloud. The angry Cloud-Men hit them with many kind things, and Centipede got hit by rainbow paint.

After they moved away from the cloud, then they discussed about the best way to clean the paint form the Centipede’s body. Until they heard a voice that they thought it was Cloud-Man. Actually it was a sound of a big amount of water like giant waterfall poured from a black cloud. All the travelers got wet and fortunately it washed the Centipede clean form the paint and therefore he could move again.

After that James and his companion continued the journey, they woke up all night and didn’t sleep. In the sky, they heard a soft noise and they saw in the sky like a big gray creature swooping down. Apparently the morning sun will rise and shine soon, when it’s full daylight they saw a land below them it’s America. After knowing that they were in New York City, America they tried to find an idea to land the peach. James’ idea was to cut loose a few seagulls. Meanwhile, the people in New York City was panicked they thought that the giant peach was bomb. All of the radio and TV programs were interrupted by the news about the giant peach.

The Mayor directly called the President and told about the giant peach. James asked Centipede to bite the silkstring for landing the peach, but suddenly there was a plane that cutted all of the silkstrings so that the peach land quickly. Finally it stopped falling, the giant peach landed in the Empire State Building. Many people waited and watching them below, James introduced each creature to the people that watching them. The Mayor said that they should held a parade using an enormous limousine for James and his companion. The Mayor explained one by one about how will the parade will be, the people around were very excited.

James and his companion get inside the limousine, everybody were really excited, cheer, clapping and screaming. James let each people have some peach, it was very crowded and fantastic. The journey finally ended, all of the travelers were now became a successful person. Like Centipede, was made Vice president in charge of sales in high class firm of boot and shoe manufactures. James lived in a famous, nice house, he also wrote a book about his journey and the giant peach because people kept on begging James tell his story again and again. So they live happy eve after.

James and The Giant Peach (Part 3)

James' idea is to use the silkworm's string and hang on the seagull's long neck. So that the giant peach will fly and follow the seagull. But to make the giant peach fly, they need many seagulls and luckily there were many seagulls. On top of the peach, James and the other creatures can see a one huge ship in the sea. Mean while the people in the ship can see the peach flying and hang on the seagulls. The people think that James and the creatures going to attack them, the captain in that ship saw everyone, James, ladybug, Grasshoppers, and others. In the peach, James and the creatures didn't worry about it they all just talk to each other. Suddenly, Centipede was almost fall from the giant peach but James saved him.

At night, James and the companion or creatures were still flying on the peach. That time, they saw many cloud-men so that they speak with low volume to not bother the snowmen. James said that those cloud-men were practicing making hailstones for coming up winter, the hailstones will be showered down to on to people below. But, unfortunately the cloud-men saw the floating giant peach, they also saw James and the creatures. All the cloud-men suddenly  threw hailstone to them, so James and his companion quickly get inside the tunnel. A few minutes later, there was no sound of cloud-men throwing hailstone. And when James checked outside, it was right that the cloud-men stopped throwing hailstones.
